Milan S/S 09: Jil Sander

Minimalism had never been dominant in my book as I do believe that a show should have the "show factor" of surprises.

But this season, Raf Simons builds in such whirlwind of fringe details that still blends into the overall silhouette of the pieces for Jil Sander this season.

Not even a spark of colours, Raf Simons turned his usually youthful and plays of clashing colours for spring collection, to this ultra sophisticated and elegant collection.

The ultimate favourite piece of all minimalists, oversized blazers, are as usual, very well tailored and very versatile in everyone's wardrobe.

But most of the tailored pieces are also incorporated with fringe details at the hem which creates such groped mystery to the pieces.
