NY S/S 09: Erin Fetherston

I'm actually quite over the loud and salient palette format as a staple idea really. It really doesn't matter how luminous or effervescent defines spring and an edict of clothes choice.

With the addition of heavily using satin, models walking down Erin Fetherston's runway this season emits anything but dullness, even with the absence of vivid colours.

I'm really loving the satin waistlines, as the light reflection of the material does adds in some interesting elements to the waist, rather than deadly binding with a thick belt to create the silhouette.

Those softly tie dyed flowing pieces are really delighting too, though it slightly reminds me of the famous Zac Posen's last Spring's series of tie dyed satin dresses.
